November 2020 - "Packed and ready to leave the Wagner campus after finishing up the fall semester. I must admit, I was skeptical when I arrived back in August that we would be able to remain on campus until November. The college did a great job at maintaining our safety. From August 17th to November 23th there were 15,056 Covid tests given on campus with only 13 positive tests recorded which translates to 0.09%. I look forward to returning in February to finish up the course work for my senior year! Stay safe and well everyone!"

Here's hoping that during 2021 the theatre community will once again hear the laughter and applause of an audience!"

October 2020 - "This Saturday's stage make-up class fell on Halloween. We were tasked with transforming ourselves into a Halloween character of our choice during the three hour time slot. My instructor is deathly afraid of Pennywise and couldn't even look at me! I guess I'll take that as a compliment. Time to float Georgie!"

September 2020 - "And that's a wrap! Wagner College's "The Other Side of The Rainbow" senior cabaret wrapped last night. I had a great time singing I've Decided to Marry You with the lovely and talented Colleen Kelly and Camryn Duckworth. This cabaret started Wagner's Fall 2020 theatre season on the school's new outdoor stage. As a theatre performance/design, tech, mgmt. double major, I had the privilege of both helping to build the stage then perform on it! Lastly, I would like to give a shout out to Seth Jolles for the great photos!"

September 2020 - "Wagner College Theatre students safely back and excited to work together!"

August 2020 - "Thanks dad for the use of your truck so I could move my things back to campus. Wagner Covid restrictions require students to move their belongings by themselves in the allotted hour time slot the student signed up for. My new TV wouldn't fit in the back of my car so my dad graciously let me take his truck for a few days."

I am a returning customer since 2018 and anxiously await viewing the proofs at the end of the week."

July 2020 - "It is awesome to be back in the classroom co-teaching a performing arts class this summer for students entering their freshman year in high school. March 2020 - "Wow! I was notified earlier in the week that after my audition and subsequent call back dance video, I am being offered a summer apprenticeship in an ensemble/swing role at New Hope's Bucks County Playhouse which I promptly accepted. I can't begin to express how much this amazing opportunity means to me. The legendary Grace Kelly was on the stage in 1949. I used to go to New Hope when I was a kid and we would pass by the playhouse. Who would have thought I would one day be performing on that stage in their summer production of The Addams Family!"

You can call the box office for tickets (718) 390-3259, Monday through Friday from noon to 4pm."

February 2020 - "Yesterday I had the honor to attend my brother’s United States Marine Corps graduation in Parris Island, South Carolina. It was really nice to have the family back together and to see all that he had accomplished over the past few months. His Senior Drill Instructor had nothing but great things to say about Jesse and how he has a bright future ahead of him. He graduated Private First Class, was one of the squad leaders for his platoon and one of the few who remained in that position for the entirety of basic training. Marine boot camp is considered to be one of the most challenging basic training's of any military branch. It pushes a recruit both physically, mentally, and morally. Because of this, the Marines are the first to be deployed. Jesse, I’ve never been more proud of you in my life. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you. Love you bud!"

February 2020 - "I had a great night in the city at a performance of Swan Lake with two of my roommates and some other good friends from our theatre program!!

February 2020 - "My brother my hero! I proudly announce that my brother earned the title of United States Marine yesterday after successfully completing “The Crucible”. He was promoted last night to Private First Class. The surge of emotion is intense especially due to the years and countless delays Jesse faced to be able to serve the country that he loves so much. Jesse has always had a strong will and fierce determination so our family knew he would never give up. He will defend the country with honor and always put his brother and sister Marines before himself. That’s who he is. I anxiously await flying down to his graduation on the 14th and the chance to congratulate him in person."

January 2020 - "I realize for many this is an honor that they have become used to, however for me it is a huge milestone. This is the first time I have been on the Dean's List during my time at Wagner. Academics never come easy for me and I've had to work very hard. I still remember what it was like to be that little boy who the school wanted to hold back in kindergarten. Flash forward fifteen years; I'm doing very well in my double major and still have time to participate in the college choir and theatrical productions. There is something to be said about persistence and a positive attitude, it will pay off in the end!"
January 2020 -"My hero and older brother Jesse is at Marine Boot Camp and will graduate on February 14th. Tomorrow marks the start of the Crucible which Jesse along with fellow recruits will enter. As one of the squad leaders, he'll lead them in. The Crucible is a test every recruit must go through to become a Marine. It tests every recruit physically, mentally and morally and is the defining experience of recruit training. The Crucible takes place over 54-hours, includes food and sleep deprivation and over 45 miles of marching with 45 lbs. of gear. Family members create lanterns, keeping them lit for the duration to help guide recruits "Home" and give them the strength to get through the event. It is also common to tell friends and family to turn on a porch light to show their support. I love you Jesse, our lights will be burning brightly for you!"

January 2020 - "Wow, this is the year I get cast in projects to show off my dance skills on the Wagner stage. First, in next month's Dance Project, then as a featured dancer in On The Town opening April 23rd. More details to follow."

January 2020 - "I'm very excited to be in NYC for my first A1 Conference auditions! I was thrilled to receive multiple call backs; I'm looking forward to seeing where this could take me during summer 2020 as I head into my senior year at Wagner."
January 2020 - " A busy audition schedule started today with Bucks County Playhouse Apprenticeship auditions up first. Apprentices who are cast will be there for the run of their main stage musical The Addams Family this summer and will become part of the acting company as chorus members or swings. What an amazing opportunity for those that get selected. Of course it is a small world in the theatre and two of my fellow cast members from last summer's Addams Family at Plays-in-the-Park were there as well!"

January 2020 - "As you can imagine, Wagner College social media is blowing up with the news that 2018 alumna Emma Pittman (center) has been cast in Chicago and will make her Broadway debut as the next Roxie Hart! It is a very exciting time to be a Wagner theatre major and see that dreams can come true with hard work and dedication!"
January 2020 - "Hadestown, Wow! It is hard to find the words to describe this amazing and emotional show that will bring you to tears. My parents couldn't have picked a more perfect Christmas gift. Thanks Mom and Dad, the show's music and message was one that I needed to hear!"

January 2020 - "Wishing everyone a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year! Today is the first blank page of a 365 day book. Write a good one."

October 2019 - "There is still one more chance to see Evita on Wagner College's main stage, 10-13-19 at 2pm. Evita brings to life the rags-to-riches story of Eva Perón, the First Lady of Argentina. Directed and choreographed by Chloe Treat, with music direction by Dan Garmon. Yours truly has been one of the soundboard operators for the run of this show as a tech assignment for my D.T.M. double major. What a great experience, what a great show!"
September 2019 - "Winnie the Pooh reminds us just how meaningful checking in on a friend can be not just during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month but always". It occurred to Pooh and Piglet that they hadn't heard from Eeyore for several days, so they put on their hats and coats and trotted across the Hundred Acre Wood to Eeyore's stick house. Inside the house was Eeyore. "Hello Eeyore," said Pooh. "Hello Pooh. Hello Piglet," said Eeyore, in a Glum Sounding Voice. "We just thought we'd check in on you," said Piglet, "because we hadn't heard from you, and so we wanted to know if you were okay." Eeyore was silent for a moment. "Am I okay?" he asked, eventually. "Well, I don't know, to be honest. Are any of us really okay? That's what I ask myself. All I can tell you, Pooh and Piglet, is that right now I feel really rather Sad, and Alone, and Not Much Fun To Be Around At All. Which is why I haven't bothered you. Because you wouldn't want to waste your time hanging out with someone who is Sad, and Alone, and Not Much Fun To Be Around At All, would you now." Pooh looked and Piglet, and Piglet looked at Pooh, and they both sat down, one on either side of Eeyore in his stick house. Eeyore looked at them in surprise. "What are you doing?" "We're sitting here with you," said Pooh, "because we are your friends. And true friends don't care if someone is feeling Sad, or Alone, or Not Much Fun To Be Around At All. True friends are there for you anyway. And so here we are." "Oh," said Eeyore. "Oh." And the three of them sat there in silence, and while Pooh and Piglet said nothing at all; somehow, almost imperceptibly, Eeyore started to feel a very tiny little bit better.
"In tribute to my high school friend and fellow performer Nick Pratico (seen in the picture below standing to my right). We lost Nick to suicide in September 2017. I wish I had known what he was going through and had been there to check in on him."

I have a full schedule this semester with Acting III, Stage Directing, Stagecraft, Drafting for the Stage, Ballet II, Tap III, Musical Theatre Styles Tap and private voice lessons. We presented a work shop and I assisted with planning decisions which was something I hadn't previously been involved with. Last summer I was a performing arts counselor teaching music theory, acting, singing and dancing to middle school children. The end of camp program was such a success, that grant funding has increased to add new locations which will allow more children to participate. Jahmai is a talented pianist pursuing a music degree at Montclair State University. Thanks Jahmai for allowing me to use my Wagner training to share the joys of performing arts."
