Biography:
Jordan Thomas Burnett is a proud Eagle Scout and an 2021 honors graduate of Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, where he worked towards a double major to fully immerse himself in the theatre program. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Performance and Design, Tech, Management. While at Wagner College, Jordan was a student of 2003 Tony Award Winner Michele Pawk (best featured actress in a play - Hollywood Arms) and currently on the Broadway stage in "Just in Time" as Polly Walden.
Jordan was born and raised in Hamilton, New Jersey where he had an early fascination with music and began performing in middle school. Some of his most notable theatre credits include Tommy DeVito (Jersey Boys), Don Lockwood (Singin' in the Rain), Seymour Krelborn (Little Shop of Horrors), Tully Mars (Escape to Margaritaville), Nick Bottom (Something Rotten) where he was nominated in Broadway World's Boston Awards for Best Performer in a Musical.
On the tour, resort and cruise stages, Jordan appeared in "Christmas in the Air" (a Rand Production original) as a Lead Vocalist touring the midwest/northeast, in "Finding Christmas" at the MGM Beau Rivage Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi as a Lead Vocalist and a Production Cast Principal singer on the Norwegian Spirit cruising to Alaska, Australia, Fiji, Hawaii, New Zealand and Tahiti while performing in three original NCLH shows, Blazing Boots, Elements and World Beat as well as a Broadway Cabaret.
On the New York City circuit, Jordan has appeared as a cabaret soloist at Don't Tell Mama restaurant and piano bar, The Duplex, The Producers Club and graced the Carnegie Hall stage with the Wagner College Choir. He trained with his Wagner College vocal coach Anthony Turner where he performed annually in a spring vocal recital. Jordan believes that artists should always fine tune their craft and continually pursue additional training. Jordan takes dance classes at Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway and voice lessons at Will Bryan Studios. He has also attended a summer combat intensive, a professional development opportunity to investigate various principles in stage combat then become certified in two weapons disciplines with the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD).
2025 at a Glance:
Jordan started 2025 off strong with the opportunity to be cast in the iconic show Jersey Boys as Tommy DeVito! The show closed at La Comedia in Springboro, Ohio on March 23rd and Jordan headed to Emerald Coast Theatre Company in Miramar Beach, Florida for their production of Legally Blonde as Warner Huntington III. Jordan spent the summer at Circa '21 as Bert in their production of Mary Poppins. He'll close out the year at Riverside CPA in Fredericksburg, VA as Phil in their production of White Christmas.
