July 2020 - "It is awesome to be back in the classroom co-teaching a performing arts class this summer for students entering their freshman year in high school.  This is my third summer and it is great to see so many faces eager to learn. I couldn't help but smile when one student said that I looked famous."

Picture

Picture
July 2020 - "I'm very excited to announce that I will be singing in multiple courtyard cabarets at New Hope's Bucks County Playhouse during July and August.  I had been selected as an apprentice and would have appeared in an ensemble/swing role for their summer performance of The Addams Family had it not been canceled due to Covid-19.  Please check back for cabaret dates."

Picture
May 2020 - "Under difference world circumstances, I would have been on a flight to Venice today with the Wagner College Choir. Our seven day performance tour would have taken us to Florence and Rome. I would have attended mass at Saint Peter's Basilica. Wow! I can't help but wish things were different, however, I will remain optimistic that my performance career will take me there in the future."

Picture
May 2020 - "As is tradition each year, I have a picture taken of me all packed and ready to leave Wagner after my last final. So even though the truck is empty truck since I moved back home in March and my last final was taken at home instead of on campus, I am still very proud of the school year I just completed to become a rising senior! I'm disappointed that I won't be going to Italy next week with the college choir or participating in the Bucks County Playhouse Summer Apprenticeship, however I'm trying to remain positive and hopeful!"

Picture
March 2020 - "Wow! I was notified earlier in the week that after my audition and subsequent call back dance video, I am being offered a summer apprenticeship in an ensemble/swing role at New Hope's Bucks County Playhouse which I promptly accepted. I can't begin to express how much this amazing opportunity means to me. The legendary Grace Kelly was on the stage in 1949. I used to go to New Hope when I was a kid and we would pass by the playhouse. Who would have thought I would one day be performing on that stage in their summer production of The Addams Family!"

Picture
February 2020 - "Wagner College D.T.M. (Design, Technology, Mgmt.) majors climbing to new heights.  I'm learning so much this semester and extremely proud to be part of this program!  It is a challenge to be a double major, but worth it."

Picture
February 2020 - "Yesterday I had the honor to attend my brother’s United States Marine Corps graduation in Parris Island, South Carolina. It was really nice to have the family back together and to see all that he had accomplished over the past few months. His Senior Drill Instructor had nothing but great things to say about Jesse and how he has a bright future ahead of him. He graduated Private First Class, was one of the squad leaders for his platoon and one of the few who remained in that position for the entirety of basic training. Marine boot camp is considered to be one of the most challenging basic training's of any military branch. It pushes a recruit both physically, mentally, and morally. Because of this, the Marines are the first to be deployed. Jesse, I’ve never been more proud of you in my life.  I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you. Love you bud!"

Picture
February 2020 - "I had a great night in the city at a performance of Swan Lake with two of my roommates and some other good friends from our theatre program!!

Picture
February 2020 - "My brother my hero!  I proudly announce that my brother earned the title of United States Marine yesterday after successfully completing “The Crucible”. He was promoted last night to Private First Class. The surge of emotion is intense especially due to the years and countless delays Jesse faced to be able to serve the country that he loves so much. Jesse has always had a strong will and fierce determination so our family knew he would never give up. He will defend the country with honor and always put his brother and sister Marines before himself. That’s who he is. I anxiously await flying down to his graduation on the 14th and the chance to congratulate him in person.

Picture
January 2020 - "I realize for many this is an honor that they have become used to, however for me it is a huge milestone. This is the first time I have been on the Dean's List during my time at Wagner. Academics never come easy for me and I've had to work very hard.  I still remember what it was like to be that little boy who the school wanted to hold back in kindergarten.  Flash forward fifteen years; I'm doing very well in my double major and still have time to participate in the college choir and theatrical productions. There is something to be said about persistence and a positive attitude, it will pay off in the end!"

January 2020 -"My hero and older brother Jesse is at Marine Boot Camp and will graduate on February 14th.  Tomorrow marks the start of the Crucible which Jesse along with fellow recruits will enter.  As one of the squad leaders, he'll lead them in.  The Crucible is a test every recruit must go through to become a Marine. It tests every recruit physically, mentally and morally and is the defining experience of recruit training. The Crucible takes place over 54-hours, includes food and sleep deprivation and over 45 miles of marching with 45 lbs. of gear.  Family members create lanterns, keeping them lit for the duration to help guide recruits "Home" and give them the strength to get through the event. It is also common to tell friends and family to turn on a porch light to show their support. I love you Jesse, our lights will be burning brightly for you!"
Picture
January 2020 - "Wow, this is the year I get cast in projects to show off my dance skills on the Wagner stage.  First, in next month's Dance Project, then as a featured dancer in On The Town opening April 23rd.  More details to follow."

Picture

January 2020 - " A busy audition schedule started today with Bucks County Playhouse Apprenticeship auditions up first.  Apprentices who are cast will be there for the run of their main stage musical The Addams Family this summer and will become part of the acting company as chorus members or swings. What an amazing opportunity for those that get selected.  Of course it is a small world in the theatre and two of my fellow cast members from last summer's Addams Family at Plays-in-the-Park were there as well!"

January 2020 - "Hadestown, Wow!  It is hard to find the words to describe this amazing and emotional show that will bring you to tears.  My parents couldn't have picked a more perfect Christmas gift.  Thanks Mom and Dad, the show's music and message was one that I needed to hear!"
Picture
January 2020 - "Wishing everyone a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year! Today is the first blank page of a 365 day book.  Write a good one."

Earlier in the week my schedule included Dance Project auditions and callbacks.  This year's theme is seasons and selected dancers should be announced by Friday.  Yesterday I performed for the jury panel which is a requirement for students with a music scholarship. I felt positive about my performance for both and look forward to getting feedback."

Picture
November 2019 - "Wishing everyone a very Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving! As I sit down to dinner this year, I am saddened that my big brother is not across from me at the dinner table. I hope he knows that he is in my daily thoughts as he faces the challenges of boot camp. I look forward to seeing him at graduation and telling him how very proud I am."

Picture
November 2019 - "I want to thank director Mickey Tennenbaum for letting my brother Jesse see the run through of LOVE/SICK today since he'll be shipping out for Marine boot camp in two days.  Words can not express how much I love you Jesse and will miss your visits to Wagner. Thanks for always being there for me, to give advice when I need it and to listen when I have to get something off my chest.  I couldn't ask for a better brother.  You'll always be in my thoughts and prayers.  Semper Fi!"

Picture
November 2019 - "Beyond excited to be nominated in Broadway World's Regional NJ Awards for Best Actor in a Musical for last summer's production of The Addams Family at Plays-In-The-Park in Edison.  I had a blast developing the character of Lucas Beineke and enjoyed working with such talented performers. Check out the media section of my gallery to see a reel of some of my scenes".

Picture
October 2019 - "There is still one more chance to see Evita on Wagner College's main stage, 10-13-19 at 2pm.  Evita brings to life the rags-to-riches story of Eva Perón, the First Lady of Argentina.  Directed and choreographed by Chloe Treat, with music direction by Dan Garmon.  Yours truly has been one of the soundboard operators for the run of this show as a tech assignment for my D.T.M. double major.  What a great experience, what a great show!"

September 2019 - "Winnie the Pooh reminds us just how meaningful checking in on a friend can be not just during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month but always".  It occurred to Pooh and Piglet that they hadn't heard from Eeyore for several days, so they put on their hats and coats and trotted across the Hundred Acre Wood to Eeyore's stick house. Inside the house was Eeyore.  "Hello Eeyore," said Pooh. "Hello Pooh. Hello Piglet," said Eeyore, in a Glum Sounding Voice. "We just thought we'd check in on you," said Piglet, "because we hadn't heard from you, and so we wanted to know if you were okay." Eeyore was silent for a moment. "Am I okay?" he asked, eventually. "Well, I don't know, to be honest. Are any of us really okay? That's what I ask myself. All I can tell you, Pooh and Piglet, is that right now I feel really rather Sad, and Alone, and Not Much Fun To Be Around At All. Which is why I haven't bothered you. Because you wouldn't want to waste your time hanging out with someone who is Sad, and Alone, and Not Much Fun To Be Around At All, would you now." Pooh looked and Piglet, and Piglet looked at Pooh, and they both sat down, one on either side of Eeyore in his stick house.
Eeyore looked at them in surprise. "What are you doing?" "We're sitting here with you," said Pooh, "because we are your friends. And true friends don't care if someone is feeling Sad, or Alone, or Not Much Fun To Be Around At All. True friends are there for you anyway. And so here we are."
"Oh," said Eeyore. "Oh." And the three of them sat there in silence, and while Pooh and Piglet said nothing at all; somehow, almost imperceptibly, Eeyore started to feel a very tiny little bit better.
